I can't decide whether they are truly clueless idiots, or they are corrupt. I've never been able to get our state rep to contact us back. He's clearly in hiding. This is a guy that has been to our house to campaign and told my husband that Stacy Abrams was from hell. And now, nowhere. I mean, did this rep even know about Ligon's report??
I feel like I'm being gaslit every time I talk to him but I also get the feeling that he's not incredibly well-informed either. Seems like maybe he doesn't have the wherewithal to fight against the propaganda. He's the only one that will even get on the phone with me though so I sort of appreciate that. That should be the bare minimum though. You're not alone in feeling defeated. Keep at it though. Whether they listen or not is on them. You are doing the right thing and everyone here appreciates your efforts.
