I love the guy, no doubt, but I have never as a grown man called another grown man "Daddy".
It's cringe on all levels and makes us look silly.
Spez: Jesus Christ, its a personal opinion. I just wanted to see who else agreed. The "daddy" lovers are in full force right now.
Spez2: Yes, we all know it started with Milo. Thanks for reminding everyone again, and again, and again.
He's not telling anyone what to say. He's expressing his sentiment that this particular appellation grosses him out.
And I agree. I don't think any grown adult should be calling anyone "daddy," not even their own father. At that point, it should be "Dad," if you're a regular dude, "Father," if you're annoyed with him or if you're well-to-do and want to show respect, or "Sir" if you're from a family with military tradition.
Now, people are free to sound like dependent children if they really, really want to. But I'll still be rolling my eyes and avoiding most posts that contain the term.
