It's more a happy accident when they get in a trap. I'm usually going for raccoons, since the little fuckers will decimate all the chickens in a chicken coop in a few minutes, but so will a bobcat.

Man, you don’t have any love for a natural predator just doing its thing? I mean, I get protecting the chickens, but predators are pretty much the only thing keeping the pests at bay. :/

Got a guard god and didn’t have a problem. Maybe I’m just fortunate. Trapping seems extreme to me considering the incredible benefit bobcats bring to the ecosystem.

You obviously don't get protecting the chickens.

Predators are the pests when it comes to livestock.

That's like saying Antifa burning your car is just liberals doing their thing.

If the bobcats don't want to be killed, they can damn well learn to either stay away from chicken coops or invent guns that can be fired by their little paws and fight back. Until then, we're the superior species and our food supply takes precedence.

I would have preferred to hunt him but he was the dumb ass who walked into the cage.

You realize they eat raccoons and rabbits and mice and deer and toms of other animals and do little to no damage to anyone or anything right? Pretty easy to secure a coop. Get a guard dog, problem solved.

Man you chicken people really are hardcore.
