Mark my word, Congress will dangle that $2000 each and keep the alterations to the Insurrection Act in the bill. That’s their ultimate goal with the “relief bill.” Then it will become, “see, Trump is all talk about helping citizens out...” while holding everyone by the balls unless he agrees to sign and limit his powers. Nancy is fucking evil. That’s the ONLY reason she quickly agreed to increase our assistance.

Doesn't matter. Congress is only responsible for funding. The President is Commander-in-Chief. Congress is not allowed to give orders to the military.
Its veto proof and senate doesn't recess anymore, so no pocket veto, he needs to veto it in 8 days, then they will vote it through, it WILL go through, best Trump can do is delay it, and he needs to.
Doesn't matter. Lookup the term "Pocket Veto"
But if he holds out without signing, we won’t see the relief. Maybe because it’s an omnibus he may be able to choose what he will and will not sign. Either way, my point being it will be a leverage point that Pelosi can use, and probably will. That’s the only reason she agrees to help Americans out readily. There’s always an ulterior motive with that witch.
If understand it correctly, Congress doesn't adjourn any more, so I don't think that pocket vetoes work any more.
They do :), and also Trump made December 24 a govt holiday for this year only. :P
What are the changes to the insurrection act? It sounds like I missed something.
It restricts Presidents ability to enact it unilaterally
It was never going to be used and was never a possibility.
Whats unfortunate is that a whole lot of suckers convinced themselves that "any day now" Trump was going to do it.
So this doesn't affect him and his "plans" at all
I do believe he still will use it AFTER it’s been announced that Trump won and lefty lunatics begin rioting again.
