Went to Walmart with my dad to buy a Christmas present for my nephew. We walk in and this shriveled up menopausal shrew of a door greeted asks if we have masks. I say no and get a cart. She steps closer and says I have to have a mask. I ask if it’s a store policy or a state policy. She said it’s a state law. I said it’s a mandate, not a law, and a mandate is meaningless. She then tries emotional manipulation, saying her mask protects me and mine protects her. I asked if hers wasn’t working. I told her a mask on a healthy person is a muzzle, and I’m healthy. Then I told her, look I’m just here to buy a Christmas present for a child. We’ll go somewhere else. I go to put the cart up and she huffs and says “Fiiiiine. Go on then.” And then she waved us through into the store. We were the only maskless people in there, and we held our heads high. Keep resisting!

I get that... at some point though people are going to have to break the big box and amz habits. They essentially ran out all the small stores and do the majority of the oppression like low wages and masked etc. all the while making billions and doing chynnas bidding. I know it’s going to be tough pill to swallow but unless people do not much is going to change. I’m aware we also have to get past one battle to get to the next. I’ve never supported big box because they killed small business years ago, the power they have now would not exist if it was not handed to them by consumers.
