I am in the process of getting a license to carry. I am unlikely time have the permit in time to legally purchase a handgun, though. I live in the state with the 2nd worst gun control laws of the US, MA. NY is #1, IMO.
Yeah, ASP looks really good but are next level cost wise. I'm viewing this as a one time thing that I won't need afterwards and picked the S&W 26" as a kind of an in-between choice. Maybe it's a step or two down from the best ones, but definitely better than the cheapo ones I saw on Amazon. They seemed like junk.
