You need a bit more than "verbal" for that to have any weight. He now has to make sure she is provided with the necessary access and documentation to have that acknowledged otherwise she's going to be laughed out of whatever room she enters to make demands of.

This is something Trump still stumbles on from time to time. The government isn't a business. You cannot just treat it like one and expect what you want to happen. He's gotten much better than he was at the start but things like this just show he's still thinking like a businessman and expecting others to handle the details while those "others" are against him every step of the way instead of for him. They don't want the country to succeed and Trump is used to employees to want the business to succeed.

White House staff is ignoring trump though. They are running out the clock.
