Please read Constitution Article 1, Section 7, second paragraph.

This is dead on Constitutional grounds.

However, there is precedence for these unConstitutional budget bills coming from the Senate.

It was the Senate version of Obamacare, not the House version, which ultimately passed.

When taken to SCOTUS, good ol' John Roberts declared the mandate a TAX.

This had the effect of declaring this to be a TAX bill originating from the Senate, and not the House, like the Constitution states it ought to be.

I did some research. The Bill originated in the House, with Senate amendments. https://www.govtrack.us/congress/bills/116/hr133

I just saw that. I was reported else where as having originated in the Senate, with some House amendments.

I checked Trump's veto - it states it originated in the House.

I will stand corrected on this point.

Not a big deal. I also was unsure. They try to hide this stuff and it takes lots of digging.
