There are two bills: the OMNIBUS BILL that includes COVID relief, and the NDAA that at one point included the insurrection act restraints (which were just bullshit anyway), and the section 230 bullshit. Neither of which belonged there.

Now, the media is trying to get people to stop noticing that the COVID relief shit is buried inside the 2.3 TRILLION dollar OMNIBUS bill. Where naturally, it doesn't belong. It got buried in there along with a bunch of other stuff that used to be stand alone bills and now are not. The media does not want people to think about all the rest of the money. They want people focused on the current 900 Billion dollars.

At this point, because the president doesn't have line item veto, he has 2 choices. He can VETO OMNIBUS, hence VEOTING COVID relief, or he can sign it as is, with the 600 dollar insult since the house hasn't got it back yet to change it.

Now in the past, when a president veto'd a stuck together pile of shit, congress would hand wave, take all the pieces back out, and send the separate ones (which is how it is supposed to be done in the first place). What will likely happen this time is they will take it back and sit on it. Or take it back, up the cash to 2K, and take the time to throw even MORE shit into it. They can also decide to be reasonable and do their job right, and JUST send a COVID relief bill, clean, with 2K and the other COVID stuff. The odds are low.

But HR133 is far far more than a COVID bill. There are at least 2 other bills in there along with everything else they could think of.
