§12. Failure of certificates of electors to reach President of the Senate or Archivist of the United States; demand on State for certificate
When no certificate of vote and list mentioned in sections 9 and 11 of this title from any State shall have been received by the President of the Senate or by the Archivist of the United States by the fourth Wednesday in December, after the meeting of the electors shall have been held, the President of the Senate or, if he be absent from the seat of government, the Archivist of the United States shall request, by the most expeditious method available, the secretary of state of the State to send up the certificate and list lodged with him by the electors of such State; and it shall be his duty upon receipt of such request immediately to transmit same by registered mail to the President of the Senate at the seat of government.

I’m no law dog but seems it’s saying these all documents must be to Pence by today? What if they’re not received? Seems Pence can just cross them out then.
I think it means he has to notify the SoS to send properly certified electors by end of day on the fourth Wednesday (today) is how I read it. See article 2 section 1: "Each State shall appoint, in such Manner as the Legislature thereof may direct." so in theory, if new election policies circumvented the legislatures (like it has in multiple states: reference Texas vs. Common Wealth of Pennsylvania et al), that section has been violated and the resulting electors would not be certified.
This only applies when no certified votes have been received. All the states have sent theirs.

Well I want to believe. But I also firmly believe the idea of a habbening today is just another in a long string of tick tock copium doses.
I thought he was supposed to do this on the sixth?
We will see if Pence is yet another to backstab Trump. If he does, i have nothing holding me back.
