And works flawlessly in Linux, which I use for my daily driver. I use Gimp for most photo manipulation-meme tpye of stuff and Krita for any actual drawing- it has better pressure brush control (for using a drawing tablet) and vector line capability, etc.

Which distro? I'm on Fedora. Been on Linux for about 10 years now, Fedora for the last 8 years.
