I shit you not, one of their front page stories was a retelling of a Reddit story.

Some BS about an estranged daughter who reconnected with parents just to get her elaborate wedding paid for.

They did play by play and tried to make it a dilemma by giving all the family drama (that daughter was a liberal arts fuckup, other kids did hard science and have good jobs and paid for their own wedding, etc)

I pulled up that “reporter’s” page and all of his articles are Reddit stories.

Why does a “real news outlet” have a dedicated Reddit plagiarist?
