I came here to post this very topic, feeling the need to to discuss the man with other like minded people. I'm sort of a digital pack rat and I like to save audio and video of various things that fill me with nostalgia. And long before we found out Rush was sick, I started saving recordings of his Christmas sign offs for whatever reason. I was busy with work and missed recording today's sign off. Part of me was sad to miss it since it's, barring a miracle, the last one. Then again, part of me doesn't want this one and for the very same reason. Rush has been a blessing for this country and like one of his last callers said, I pray every day for him and a big part of that is just so I can hear his voice in a world where there is so much screeching madness.
