I love both of them.

Everyone on the planetz and more so especially everyone on this damn website, needs to learn that humans are human and they make mistakes, they have differences of opinion, and they are definitely going to say or do shit you don't like at some point....

It's not about a single event or even a handful of events.... it should be about the culmination of who you are in total and that's what we should judge for whether or not we like someone...... not because they finally said/did something last week you didn't agree with....

Rand was my choice in the 2016 primary, and I still like him.

But I'm glad he lost that primary.

His weakness is also his strength. He's not about loud showmanship like Jim Jordan or Ron Johnson, so a lot of amateur politics dabblers call him "weak spined"

But really he means everything he says and I've NEVER caught him on the wrong side of the Constitution

In the Podesta email leaks they talk about Rand. It's very insightful. They're basically asking each other if he's "for real." And are somewhat shocked someone on that stage isn't playing "the game," but is there trying to do the right thing. It's eye opening because apparently it's that rare of quality in dc.

I honestly don't know how anyone is surprised that it is so rare. Politicians didn't just get their stereotype as greasy liars who will say anything they think you want to hear randomly. A big part of why I originally started to like Trump was because he was basically attacked brutally by everyone. If all the other politicians hate someone, you know that someone is doing the right thing. The only reason they hate him so much is because he wants to end the rampant corruption.

I used to really like Rand, I still do, but I used to too.

When someone says they hate Rand or calls him a cuck or swamp rat, I immediately dismiss them out of hand as a sister fucking mongoloid wearing diapers. So far this has been 100% accurate to safely assume.

I think you may not yet have him pegged quite right, is what I'll say about that.

Rand has consistently been one of Geotus’s top supporters in the Senate.

Johnfox13 20 points ago +21 / -1

He is a wise man. You want him on your counsel. He will tell you if you are out of line or doing something foolish. Far better than flatterers or bribed legal counsel Trump if. Keep wise counsel and fire the wicked ones

I heard AOC is considering conversion. She's intrigued by the aluminum pole.

You can tell Rand had no love for Trump before he was POTUS, still thinks he's a bit of a prick, but has great respect for him regardless.

OwlHoller 7 points ago +7 / -0

The fact the narrative of this site “people don’t like Rand Paul” is clear of how group think people have become.

The guy matches up with, what, 90% of all votes and narratives that fit here.

Nah, fuck Rand, he’s a cuck. RINO. Blah blah blah

We need dozens more Rand Paul’s in the senate.

3
concealedaces [S] 3 points ago +3 / -0

Agreed. People need to calm down and stop attacking the people who are actually working to fix this broken country. Rand and Ron Paul are why I had any hope of change in modern politics and Trump has shown that it can be done at the presidential level as well.

WeinerLapTop -6 points ago +1 / -7

Haha rand is a cuck.

4
StaryHickory 4 points ago +4 / -0

I think Rand will support the president on 6 Jan. Hopefully it does not come to that. But he is the type to do the right thing when it counts. He just has political ambitions as well beyond senator. But he will never get to be president by turning in the face of adversity.

Things need to be done now for the good of this nation. If he got into politics to make a difference, now is the time. There will never be a better time.

I noticed how in the presidential debates Trump would come out swinging immediately against Paul. Trump recognized Paul would be a contender, so he wasted no time making fun of that hair to cut him down a bit. Making fun of hair is something anyone can get over and forgive. And now they can be allies. I hope Cruz can get over being called Lyin' Ted. That was a bit cutting but they're both adults. I'd have called him Mister Haney just for the laughs, as that can be forgotten in good spirits.

Somewhere we're going to have to find our champion for 2024. If you think 2020 is horrible, just wait till 2024. We won't have the Donald to fight for us from the White House.

3
Guitarscientist 3 points ago +3 / -0

Rand laughing with Trump's hair comment in the debate was very telling of the kind of person he is. Being able to laugh at yourself, even when being attacked, is a good trait to have.

2
shadypollster 2 points ago +2 / -0

Hilarious 🤣

2
Hangemh1gh 2 points ago +2 / -0

Who has a problem with Rand Paul? I think he should run in 2024 after GEOTUS.

1
MemeWarsVet 1 point ago +2 / -1

Rand needs to object on the 6th; he and Cruz.

Walk the walk, boys. It's time.

1
Neonlightdistrict 1 point ago +2 / -1

I dont trust that guy at all. The push for him on this site is incredibly suspicious and there was nothing funny in those tweets.

Fuck off with rand Paul.

You should care. Rand Paul is a defeatist and a coward who is telling Congress not to object to electors https://streamable.com/o4a7ha

NuclearRocks1 -10 points ago +6 / -16

I hate him, such a condescending little prick. His family has been in Government for 40+ years.

He only helps himself, read his remarks as if you were Trump. Always with the back hand 🤬🤬🤬🤬

8
Honk4Trump 8 points ago +9 / -1

Yeah I noticed that too but I’m ok with a little ribbing. I’m sure he’s still salty with the was trump dropped nuclear bombs on him during the 2016 debates.
