Ram manufactures got sued in the last 6 years for artificially crippling supply so they could sell ram at double the normal price. There are only 3 ram manufacturers in the world so not hard to get together to fix the price.
You're a moron then. Everyone wants ammo and if you didn't see toilet paper flying off the shelves for months and months then you wouldn't understand ammo being in even more demand for the stuff inflicted on people in 2020. I'd go out and buy 5 cases in a heart beat if the supply was there, the prices weren't sky high and I wasn't screw over other shooters.
The real rumor is the PCC crowd burning through 9MM for two solid years prior to the coof with their 30rd glork giggle sticks. Funny how all the Uzi milsurp pouches disappeart about the same time, huh?
Youtube is such a mixed blessing to the gun community. There's a lot of guys with good information, but there's also a lot of guys inspiring a whole generation of young/new shooters to just do mag dumps into the general direction of the target while screaming "Merica!
Combine pistol caliber carbine craze with 30 round stick-o-zines, and you have people having way too much fun, and blowing through mucho freedom seeds easily. Before the coof, people who were just casually on the lookout for more 9mm, became constantly on the prowl with their PCC to feed.
The older Demolition Ranch videos would be a good place to start. Look at his videos from two and three years ago. They're more original and interesting. He's kinda run out of new ideas.
Hickock45 is great if you're trying to pick up information regarding guns and ammo. He's like a knowledgeable grandfather showing you the ropes
The Remington plant in Arkansas if this is correct, is not operating right now. How the Remington group could miss out on 2020 is unbelievable. Record gun and ammo sales and they are selling themselves off at pennies on the dollar. Glad Marlin lever actions will now be made by Ruger.
If I recall, Remington got sued out of existence, or at least into selling themselves off.
The NY plant closed and operations were heading for Arkansas. It may be the Arkansas plant isn't staffed and supplied up to speed for whatever they were going to make.
The ammo is from Arkansas, I drive past it every time I go to Little Rock to the Clinton Library to see the famous blue dress on display (kidding). The manufacturing went to Alabama because labor is less expensive but there is a lot of manufacturing know how there. Alabama has been an industrial state since before the Civil War (the land is for the most part crap, so agriculture is relegated to a few locations).
Too many weird marketing tactics for game consoles over the years I guess.

Remember the meme video of the guy laughing hysterically?
You're talking about price fixing that was going on with Samsung and Micron. That happened like 20 years ago dude.
I said within the last 6 years. Clearly that doesn't mean 20 years ago. https://www.techrepublic.com/article/samsung-hynix-micron-sued-for-dram-price-fixing-that-could-have-raised-pc-prices/ Soon after this ram prices returned to a normal price level.
Dude, it happens repeatedly when you have a small group of companies that control a market. Keep your eyes closed I guess.

Um...you realize that was a joke, right?
My bad, I assumed you were in defense of people accusing him of this.
I got it.
5 cases of ammo or toilet paper?
I guess you better be prepared either way, for when shit hits he fan.
I'd also get a tarp for when that happens.
Get the bidet adapter for your toilet. $200 up front and the. You don’t have to worry about toilet paper ever again.
That depends, can I use a roll of TP as a suppressor?
Wtf. Get that camera out of my house, right now.
Why don’t you hug it all the way to the post office and put my address on it before you drop it in the slot. :)
:'-D
I haven't heard a single one of these rumors. Guess I've successfully avoided joining any moron fudd spreading pages.
It was all news to me too.

10mm was a smart buy, but people caught on fairly quickly and sucked that up too.
I wonder how many rounds get spent by you tubers like demolition ranch, you know, for clicks and tight shirts.
I'm not even as famous as Matt and I was going through a couple to a few thousand rounds a month before the shit hit the fan.

I’m not deep enough in gun culture to even understand this but I trust you.

I wish people would stop saying "exponential" as a synonym for "a lot." Exponential means something very specific and this isn't it.
That being said, every single month in 2020 saw higher gun sales than the entirety of 2019.
"A fuckton more" would also be acceptable

Yep. Thanks to Sandy Hook lawsuits and shitty manufacturing QC.

Guess this gives away my approximate location.
That's a real measurement! Somewhere around 140 gallons I believe.
Would hate to be your septic service.
Do you mean "expodential"?

Metric fuckton, or english?
Metric fuckton, which is approximately a sixpence shilling bobby in English units
African or European swallow?
Ladened or unladened ??
"An order of magnitude" would actually be more technically correct. A bit of an understatement, even.
Maybe they're jumping on the "small-batch" marketing trend?
All our ammo comes from the freshest ingredients in small hand-made batches by artisan crafters. Now in regular, diet, and new pork-flavor!
