I get where you're coming from. I do really. But realize, you don't really get to go to Washington without learning to play the game well. It's the Establishment who is like the Major Leagues; ya AAA and AA ball is fun to watch; but you're going to have to be cheering on the Major League Players if you're in the World Series because THAT is who's in the game. These Establishment Republicans ARE the ELECTORS. These Establishment Republicans ARE the ones who will be voting in the joint-session.
Genuinely, every time the winds of public opinion shift, reps like Mitch and Graham, change their position.
This is the nature of politics going back to written history. This is one reason why politicians are considered liars and untrustworthy as a profession. But it's like prostitutes changing their position whenever the winds of the public shift. Understand that that is how they play their game, but they are good at their game. No different than say Germans complaining that Sgt. York was too good a sharpshooter; they're there to do a job; and that job gets done in different ways. POLITICS IS A TEAM SPORT. And sometimes it helps to have a different costumes and players on the team. Offense, Defense, Special Teams, Trick Plays, etc.
We're a faction that republican leadership must consider...
I get that too; but history says otherwise. Just as with Reagan, or Nixon, or Goldwater, or ... you can go back including all the way back to Lincoln. It simply doesn't work that way as you're thinking. What happens instead is there's always the "slower establishment" and the more active/impatient "newer recruits"; and the truth is it comes down to LEADERSHIP and real nuts and bolts POLITICAL SKILLS (like fundraising, organizing meetings, reading through bills/law/legislation, answering the phones, mailing lists, responding to and recruiting people into the party, teaching history, etc.)
We have a MAJOR leadership gap, between the TOP and the BOTTOM. By we I mean Pedes. The DOM. DJT supporters. The Republican Party. America. What in the military might be the NCOs; or like cant run a military without sgts or master chiefs. This middle layer doesn't exist like here on the DOM(even back on spezdit), there's MODS at the top; and pedes on the bottom, but there's no Sgt or Lt. or Major or Captain. Same for the WH, etc. In the republican party, this middle layer of leadership is way too thin and way under-trained. And even worse; there's NO recruitment & training funnel. This problem has existed for 5 years now.
to every primary. We're a faction even the rinos must consider
Ideally the RINOs will be primaried, that's the proper and strategic place to do it. This requires people in those areas to get their leadership and campaign skills up; which importantly includes fundraising. This is months away at the soonest to start.
