Despite appearances there is multiple options in play. The Legislatures, particularly AZ, are working to do something. There is still pending legal challenges by Trump and 3rd parties. Trump EO 2018 is still in play. And the potential nuclear option is war with Iran, which would invoke a state of emergency and keep him in the White House.
Bottom line is either Trump has a plan or he doesn't. If he doesn't we were always fucked.
