The best anti-lockdown symbol is to not wear a mask.

IF we just concede and wear a pin that says we are mad maybe they will let us have our rights back doh...

Depends on the culture where you are. In the UK it's really a culture of you get on with things in life even if you don't agree with them, and in social contexts where many people are likely to challenge you for not wearing a mask (and get arrested or forced out of shops in some cases) then it might help give people the confidence needed to stand up for their beliefs

Sounds nice and obedient, they should probably just leave the patches at home and continue getting on with things even though they don't agree with them then.

Don't wear the mask or wear it, but don't wear it and then try to "rebel" by still wearing it, it's pointless and weak.

The fact not wearing a mask causes confrontation is precisely why it's such a great symbol. We need confrontation right now. I hear UK cops don't carry guns? Beat the shit out of them.

It's not breaking the law to not wear a mask, it is breaking the law to force it on anybody.

A patch/badge/sticker isn't going to make you a rebel if you're still wearing the mask. Your "rebelling" is completely nullified by the continued obedience.

Our uncovered face, that's our symbol.

Legal requirement in the UK to wear a mask indoors at least

Well, that's sad. Still not rebelling however if one just wears a sticker/patch with it.

All protests also have to have a submitted risk assessment to the local council otherwise it is deemed unlawful and fines/arrests are issued if you don't disperse. Can't even protest as an individual in any official capacity without one.

Welcome to the land of bureaucracy.

Yeah, that sucks but just can't do anything until the people are willing to break that, period.

I live in Los Angeles - lock down, face diaper capital of the west coast. Most people now seem to be just ignoring the lock down. I've started wearing the Guy Fawkes V for Vendetta mask into stores. I don't wear a mask outside. I've only been doing it for 3 days now, but I haven't been asked to remove it yet. At the grocery store I say to the checker "I'm protesting" and they seem to get it. "I'm protesting not being able to see people smile" It's a non violent protest, and if someone who works for the store asks me to take it off or get out I'll probably just take it off and put on the regular face diaper. It's been a long time since I saw the movie. But I remember it was about people making a stand against a tyrannical regime in Britain. I'd better watch it again. I just remember the mask as a symbol for resistance. No one's hassled me for not wearing a mask outside yet. At a Huntington Beach Trump rally, the one after SCOTUS denied the TX case, most people weren't wearing masks. I talked to a couple cops to see what their mask attitude was and wasn't asked to put on a mask. Point is it's a visible sign of protest that may get some people's attention and low risk for the mask wearer, unless there's some violent covidiot mask enforcer there, but I haven't seen any of those. I saw a meme here earlier today of a male lion with the words "Our job is not to wake the sheep. Our job is to wake the lions" or something like that. I think it's exactly the attitude we need to take to heart. Any form of resistance is worthwhile.

Hey, don’t let them discriminate against your preferred face mask. Diversity in mask options is our strength. Or something.
