We had a speaker come in and tell us some anecdote about how she offended someone because she didn't announce her pronouns.

The worst part is they can hire 3-4 indian guys from H1-B. They will have a 3rd party guy hired to do the phone "interview" where he passes the tech stuff for them. Then they go pass the in person interview that has no tech questions. As result you can get 3-4 indian IT "experts" hired as a Senior sysadmin and all of them put together would struggle to be t1 help desk.
High Tech workers are college grads. The sort of degree programs they go through include a heavy dose of Marxist brainwashing. Most university CS programs have been under the control of Marxists since the 60's.
The purpose of elementary school is to create Democrats. The purpose of high school is to create Socialists. The purpose of college is to create Communists.
Democrats with their DOJ goons and Wall Street drove out and destroyed all high tech firms with conservative cultures, from the market starting in the late 80's and ending in the early 00's. This left only leftist companies and paved the way for new firms to become dominant. The "Dot Bomb" was part of this strategy.
What we are witnessing today has been in the works since 1985. Bill Gates has always been a key player.
The reason there's so many leftists who hate capitalism is because the industry is full of beta males. Back in the 90s, beta males were still somewhat dominant overall in society since they were men, which gave them a higher standing. Woman's lack of economic power meant betas could work in tech, make good money and still have a hot wife.
After the feminism wave, betas became a bunch of simps who were butthurt at their lack of power and inability to actually get any of what they wanted from women in their life, despite their high paying jobs requiring high levels of intellect. Instead of realizing it was feminism oppressing them and that the solution was to defend the patriarchy, they thought if they groveled to the whims of women they'd in turn get women to grovel for their small dicks.
