I'm pretty fortunate. I actually can't have kids of my own, they are my step kids. Been a pretty rough year. Covid shut our business down, then hurricaine Laura destroyed our house, both my wife's car and my truck went down, and we have had to go old fashioned and made our own gifts. But God managed to find a way for us to repair our house, stay up to date on our bills, and we all have full bellies.
Not sharing for pity. It's actually a testament.
I get not all pedes are Christians, but God has been good to me. But we could lose what little we have left tomorrow and I have faith that He will make a way, no matter what.
That's rough, if it were me I'd be raging out but I have a temper issues, glad you're taking it in stride.
I lwas et go from my job weeks before the first lockdown, I lost my side job during the lockdowns. I was burning through my savings and everytime I was one months rent away from losing a place to stay something happened that kept me safe, this happened three months in a row and then I found a new job when my account was at basically zero. I'm not religious but it felt like someone was praying for me, now I pray for others to get through this shitty situation. May God bless you and yours. Merry Christmas brother
