It’s also gotten dramatically easier to use TLS as a result of services like Let’s Encrypt, whose development was also motivated by his revelations. But I recognize that I have probably been fed BS by media over the years and am interested in seeing the negative aspects of what Snowden released. You’ll never see it, short of you joining the intelligence community and gaining TS/SCI clearances. And even then, joining the right program. And even then, at best you’ll get some greybeards who will dish gossip. It’s a very small community after all, and everyone takes their duty to keep their fucking mouths shut pretty seriously. That’s why so many of them will never forgive Snowden. I mean, Assange never signed a pledge to protect this information. Snowden did.
