The truth IMHO, is that there nevere were 30 million flu cases a year, nor were there 30-60k deaths from flu in any given year.
As the CDC themselves say, its only an estimate. Based off eaht data? well, who knows.
So they have a rough number of ILI (influenza like ilnesses) that they record, a number of them are actuallly flu, whike the rest are other viruses, some known some unkonwn. But, for the benefit of selling vaccines, its all lumped into the "Flu".
This year, instead of lumping em all into the "flu" they are Luming them all into "Covid".
Its quite posiible, this years flu numbers (where they test Positive for flu) are much closer to the real actual flu numbers in any given year, and the rest are other unknown, but similar viruses. It would also explain why the Flu shot is only 30% effective.
