If he pardons Assange now, he will never be extradited to the US and will be at the mercy of the Eurocucks.

5
endthefed11 5 points ago +7 / -2

Not necessarily. They might be keeping him locked up because they think releasing someone we want to extradite will damage US relations.

14
milhouseisameme 14 points ago +14 / -0

how can you extradite an innocent man? You can’t. US would no longer have any standing to bring him here and he could still be convicted of international crimes

10
KARMAAACS 10 points ago +10 / -0

They will just charge him in another jurisdiction. Don't forget, he also leaked documents from other countries and they drummed up those sexual assault charges in Sweden too. They'd be willing to find anything just to keep him behind bars imo.

2
endthefed11 2 points ago +3 / -1

But he didn't commit any crimes... I do see your point though. They are psychologically torturing him.

2
shill273 2 points ago +2 / -0

Finally someone who can see through all the noise! Yes!, first he needs to be extradited, then he can be pardoned, once on safe grounds. Although I'm afraid EU is trying to stall his extradition until Trump leaves office..

Yeah I'm still not sure that Snowden isn't CIA asset. I don't really know either way but something definitely feels off about that whole situation.

If GEOTUS pardons Assange he will become a legend. Mark my words. People on the left and right will celebrate it and it will be remembered as will bringing all the troops home.

Snowden's loyalty is to the CIA.

8
BlinkinSun 8 points ago +10 / -2

You’re astronomically wrong about this.

1
VoteCyborgTrump2040 1 point ago +2 / -1

How exactly do you know that?

7
BlinkinSun 7 points ago +8 / -1

Because I have known Edward Snowden since 2004. He is married to my best friend. There is a lot that the general public does not know and far more that they think they know which is completely untrue.

4
VoteCyborgTrump2040 4 points ago +4 / -0

I'm a little skeptical, but even if you do know him, that doesn't really mean all that much. Snowden is a master manipulator and liar. All those guys are. I doubt you actually know the things you know. Like, have seen evidence to corroborate it.

I can't say whose side Snowden is on, or what he wants, but I do not think he is being totally honest. All someone has to do is watch that interview with Joe Rogan, or really any interview with him to see how weird and fake his personality is. Again, I don't know what his motives are, so I won't actually impugn him, but you don't know either. Nobody really does. He could easily be loyal to the CIA and you'd have no idea.

4
BlinkinSun 4 points ago +5 / -1

Ed’s personality is weird on camera because Ed is weird. This is a dude who spent his early twenties playing RPG board games with other socially dysfunctional people. Some of those 160+ IQ autists on 4chan aren’t LARPs. He doesn’t like publicity or being in front of cameras. Ed was a dude doing the right thing. Both of them are Ron Paul - type diehard libertarians. He was an IT/networking guy, not the person hacking machines, gathering data and analyzing/reporting. I know with absolute certainty that he had planned on exposing illegal government activities for years and advanced his career for the purpose of doing that... for the good of the public, not the CIA, not himself.

FWIW, I did not like him until the leak. I thought he was weird as fuck but he was dating my bestie. He earned my respect.

100% yes to Snowden. Fuck the NSA’s unconstitutional centralized secret spying.

Don’t give a damn Snowden ran off to Russia. I wouldn’t give a damn if Snowden hid in Kim Jong Uhn’s bed. He did the right thing. Damn our deep state shadow government to hell. Expose it all.

15
kanye_2024 15 points ago +21 / -6

I’m actually really surprised to see the top comment is anti snowden. Maybe i’m misinformed but he’s a hero in my eyes. Fuck the CIA NSA FBI and the swamp. Expose all their damn lies. Snowden redpilled the fuck out of me so i’m thankful he had the balls to do what so many others wouldn’t.

4
Spall 4 points ago +5 / -1

If snowden redpilled you it was because you had your head in the sand. Everything he exposed was already in the open, the additional damage he did was equal to the rosenbergs. The story that the media followed was his run to Russia as much as the NSA activities.

3
Cifu 3 points ago +3 / -0

I agree it wasn't a red pill to most of us who have been keeping up with the shit going on.. Those of us who are able to glimpse what is going on behind the curtain because we are in constant information absorption mode.

But many normies did get red pilled with Snowden. What he did was a good thing no matter how many nsa / cia apologists think.

Lets look at it from the perspective / eyes of our forefathers (without trying to be an ass just being honest in my interpretation) :

Any Intel agency's job is to gather said Intel in order to use that Intel in the favor of the citizens best interests....

In the process of gathering said Intel it's obvious that the agency is gaining information which is power and it becomes more powerful over time.

If we understand this then wouldn't there have to be things like term limits those in power who receive mot only reports but also make these reports for the use of our elected leaders who many of which also have no term limits.

That is the swamp and while I draw my huge longbow to a close I would say I don't agree with anyone defending any of these agencies for whatever reason in this case.

I considered Trump's betrayal of Assange and Snowden to be egregious. He can still redeem himself on that issue.

5

How did Trump betray Snowden. Last I heard he said he was looking into a pardon. Not heard much about Assange though.

Snowden's loyalty is to the CIA. Why do you think he released terabytes of data exposing the NSA, and yet he didn't release a single piece of evidence exposing CIA corruption?

Anyone who still thinks the CIA are the good guys needs to do more research.

3
KARMAAACS 3 points ago +4 / -1

Snowden I don't mind being in the NSA. It's the other certain agency that worries me about him. You don't move agencies like that unless you're on some sort of "assignment". Either way, I can't prove anything, but that other one rubs me the wrong way. The NSA is also bad, but I feel like one agency used another agency to keep the flak off them for a while as a scapegoat.

7
EndHumanTrafficking2 7 points ago +7 / -0

Correct.

Snowden's loyalty is to the CIA. He went to work for the NSA as a contractor specifically to damage the NSA as part of the power battle between the two agencies.

Here's my advice for anyone who foolishly believes Snowden is a good guy. Go through his twitter feed. try to find a single criticism of the CIA. Reply to one of his tweets asking him to condemn CIA corruption. Ask him to condemn CIA traitors. He won't. Because Snowden's loyalty is to the traitors in the CIA.

Explain why he’s a traitor.

For breaking the “law?”

If anything, he did more uphold, defend and protect the “supreme law of the land,” aka the constitution, than anything.

If it’s against the law to defend the constitution then maybe those laws suck and should be sent back to commieville where they originated.

Defend the constitution or GTFO.

Undo1913 13 points ago +14 / -1

If that’s all the NSA did, provide military members with critical intel, then I’d be all for it.

But that’s clearly not what the NSA’s about. They’re a deep state shadow governmental spy network who violates the US Constitution that you as a military man honorably fight to protect and uphold against all enemies foreign and domestic. Key word - domestic.

Why people defend domestic 3-letter alphabet agencies who subvert the Constitution is beyond me. Apparently might makes right and we don’t care or are too ignorant to fulfill our oaths to the country.

3
CarlOfDutyBlackCops 3 points ago +4 / -1

This. The NSAs faggotry was the easily precursor to commie bullshit like China. Spying on your citizens? Eat a fucking dick

3
Barthaneous 3 points ago +5 / -2

Not calling Snowden David, but , Didn't David leave Israel in the time of Saul for his life sake?

I mean All I know is that Snowden worked for NSA saw unethical and immoral and unconstitutional workings , and ratted them out and like all who are then at risk of losing life fled, and was still able as today talk to the people of the world in a safe place rather than risking his life here .

What should he have done after he exposed true Treasonous acts? Fight the swamp? Lol. Trump is having to deal with the swamp as of now and yet you expect Snowden to fight them?. Please help me understand why you think he is a traitor?

4
EndHumanTrafficking2 4 points ago +4 / -0

When Snowden worked for the CIA, who are infested with more traitors than the NSA, he didn't release any evidence exposing CIA traitors. Why do you think that is? Given that Snowden had the perfect opportunity to expose CIA traitors, but chose not to, where do you think Snowden's loyalties lie?

Remember, Admiral Rogers (NSA Director at the time) went to meet with President Trump during the 2016 transition to warn him that Obama was spying on him. When Admiral Rogers (NSA Director) found out that CIA contractors were abusing NSA tools to spy on people, he removed their authorization and stopped those CIA contractors from spying any longer.

Snowden was a puppet in the power battle between the CIA and the NSA. Snowden's loyalty is to the traitors in the CIA. If he agrees to flip and provide evidence against the anti-American traitors in the CIA, then fair enough give him a degree of leniency. But he won't flip, because Snowden is loyal to his traitorous CIA 'former' bosses.

1

He should be exonerated for every document that can be considered 'whistle blow' but charged for any and every classified material taken out of a SCIF that threatened national security. You can't just throw a grenade into a large crowd just to take out a single tango then claim to be the hero.

44
Undo1913 44 points ago +44 / -0

National security was threatened when the government weaponized spying powers on the people.

Fuck the NSA. We don’t need that bullshit. Don’t need the FBI. Don’t need the CIA.

They are all trash. National security? Give me a break. We have communists destroying, looting and burning every blue city in America all year long and our globalist media applauds them for it.

The 3 letter agencies haven’t done shit other than create problems that otherwise wouldn’t have existed. Like 9/11. Like killing JFK. And possibly, POSSIBLY, staging the Vegas shooting Operation Northwoods-style.

If it didn’t take the NSA 40 years to declassify and get to the bottom of shit like the Gulf of Tonkin incident, maybe they’d have value. But no, they’re all rogue agencies who subvert the constitution and blatantly lie to the public. They serve their lobbyists, not us, and certainly not the republic. Fuck em all

endthefed11 23 points ago +25 / -2

"Threatened national security?" The entire NSA organization is a systemic violation of USC 4th amendment. I would consider upholding the consitution to be the epitome of patriotism. Snowden exposed the traitors within. He is a damn hero, and the reason he had to flee the country was because of dumbfucks like you who have no problem with the trampling of our constitutional rights that continues to this day.

-13
Ainoyuushya1 -13 points ago +10 / -23

Snowden took off god knows what off of a server. It didn't only contain the unconstitutional stuff. It also likely had HUMINT sources and TTPs, SIGINT collection methodologies, identifiers for intelligence personnel, and a slew of other compromising information. There may be bad apples at the top of the intelligence community but the vast majority are good red blooded Americans that have done more to keep you safe a while you larp and bitch. So yeah fuck Snowden for putting my brothers and sisters in harms way.

16
endthefed11 16 points ago +20 / -4

Fuck all the surveillance deep state apologists. You are shilling for the military industrial complex. I don't need you or anyone else to keep me safe by violating my 4th amendment constitutional rights so we can get the muzzies in the middle east. The bill of rights keeps me safe from government tyranny and you are ok with ripping it up.

-11
Ainoyuushya1 -11 points ago +7 / -18

That's what your tiny brain doesn't get. There's the bad unconstitutional stuff that occurs at the the political level but there is also a heap of stuff that goes on at an operational level. The intelligence community is in the mitigation business but all you see is politics. National security doesn't ONLY entail some nefarious dude twisting his mustache thinking of ways to stick it to the man. There is a world outside of what you can only conceptualize.

15
endthefed11 15 points ago +17 / -2

Your not going to change my mind. I don't think we need any agency like a CIA during peacetime, and it should have been disbanded long ago before it could be infiltrated by America hating communists. The "intelligemce" community = military industrial complex. Sorry it's hard to accept you volunteered to be a part of the problem.

5
EndHumanTrafficking2 5 points ago +6 / -1

Snowden's loyalty is to the CIA. He worked for the CIA, arguably the most corrupt treasonous of all the agencies, and yet he didn't leak a single piece of evidence to expose CIA corruption. Then he went to work for the NSA as a contractor, and released terabytes of data.

Again, Snowden is the enemy. His loyalty is to the CIA. I don't understand how anyone who correctly understands that the CIA is infested with traitors can support a CIA puppet like Snowden.

2
Cifu 2 points ago +2 / -0

I used to think the same. But the more and more we find out what is happening behind the curtain, the more and more I feel like it's way beyond time we take a bat to the hornets nests.

Are there good Americans on the Intel agencies payroll? Ofcourse. But their work is being used in ways I'm sure you would not agree with.

We must understand that there isn't any real oversight, all this cloak and dagger shit is useful but there has got to be a time when we say OK enough stop everything. We are going to start from scratch with new ppl.

At least that's what I got from Snowden. The Cia, nsa, ect have gotten to the point of over 9000!!!!!!!

1
Undo1913 1 point ago +1 / -0

Keep us safe?

They sure do a great job of that. Not! NSA is a joke. Just like the CDC. If their idea of keeping us safe is placing us on house arrest and tracking everything we do then I will choose liberty over safety 10 times out of 10.

“Those who sacrifice essential liberty for temporary security deserve neither.”

  • Ben Franklin

Fuck NSA. They didn’t keep Seth rich safe. Couldn’t keep Epstein safe. Can’t lock Hillary up. Can’t lock Soros up. They let Soros fund domestic terrorists. They let the media spew poison. They let the media become more centralized. They haven’t done anything to pull us out of never ending wars that waste our kids blood in vain while the federal reserve gorges itself on record profits thanks to our governments record debt.

Just what the fuck good has the NSA done for the country? If I could save $1 a year on my taxes to get rid of the NSA, I would happily abolish it. I would abolish it principally via the 10th amendment. It’s nothing more than a parasitic bureaucratic agency. Parasitic just like 95% of the rest of the federal government.

3
Pederella 3 points ago +3 / -0

Why is Assange still in British muzzie prison and not yet extradited here? If Trump pardons him while not here, he still won't be free, will he? Get possession, then pardon?

3
Keln 3 points ago +11 / -8

As someone who held a top level clearance almost my entire adult life, I do not hate Snowden, I just think he is stupid. There are many ways to funnel information to the right people, and he seemed to skip a lot of that and go the whole "fuck it" route. I don't seem him as a hero, I see him as someone that was sitting on top of explosive stuff and had no idea how to handle it and chose probably the worst possible route.

But he's not a traitor. And he had shit-all to do with Rogers and the NSA. That makes no sense to even say that, considering Rogers was blowing the whistle on the same shit Snowden did.

Snowden should serve about 5 years in prison and then never be allowed a clearance again. And he should get "time served" for his self-exile.

Assange is a different matter. Pardon, if there is a way to do it. I have no idea if there is really, because I am not sure his charges were even formally brought.

4
Undo1913 4 points ago +10 / -6

Snowden is 100% a HERO.

Why should he have held back any information he had from the public?

Do we the people not have a 4th amendment or rights to know our gov is tracking us?

Why should he have done anything different? NSA needs to be abolished along with FBI, CIA, IRS, Fed Reserve, 16A, etc.

Sick of the deep state shadow BS. They classify anything they don't want us to see and have a license to loot, kill & spy. NSA can shove it

1
EndHumanTrafficking2 1 point ago +2 / -1

Why should he have held back any information he had from the public?

That is exactly what Snowden did. He worked for the CIA, and yet he has refused to provide any evidence to expose the traitors in the CIA. Snowden's only goal has been to damage the NSA, and protect the CIA. All those who protect traitors in the CIA, like Snowden has done, must be held accountable.

Can you imagine the meltdown if Trump did the pardon? Warhawks would be crying foul like no other.

I consider RINO NEOCON GLOBALIST tears to be the sweetest of nectars.

3
TheCandorist 3 points ago +10 / -7

Fuck Snowden. Hang that traitor. The only reason he has a twatter still and hasn't been banned is because he is a communist cuck traitor to America. Oh, and to piss you off more he was horrible at his job by all accounts and almost flunked out of school. He has no talent and is terrible at what he did for a living.

3
Spall 3 points ago +3 / -0

He is Hollywood's hero and the New Yorkers darling. The media loves him and he has a netflix special extolling his supposed virtues. The media wouldn't lie to me about who should be a role model!

Hollywood would never mislead me!

Snowden protected the Deep State. He worked for the traitors in the CIA, yet he has refused to provide a single piece of evidence exposing the corruption in the CIA.

Look at someone like Admiral Rogers (NSA Director at the time) who went to see President Trump during the 2016 transition to warn him that Obama was spying on him. He's a real hero. When Admiral Rogers discovered that CIA contractors were abusing NSA tools to spy on Americans, Admiral Rogers immediately cancelled their authorization. That's an example of a hero protecting America. Snowden on the other hand has refused to do anything which would damage the CIA's reputation. He continues to protect the CIA. Look at his twitter feed. Try to get him to condemn CIA corruption. He won't. Because Snowden's loyalty is to the traitors in the CIA.

-2
TheCandorist -2 points ago +2 / -4

Uh no. He betrayed all Americans by not doing this in a controlled legal manner like an actual whistleblower would do. He committed treason and espionage. He is not a whistleblower.

What part made you retarded and not comprehending you don't steal classified data and give it to China because you are a good person. He committed treason literally by the documents he signed to get access to that data. Maybe you are dumb or never had access to that kind of data. Maybe you don't know actual whistleblowers have existed and did so legally.

Snowden is deep state.... If he weren't he'd be rotting in a cell like Assange.

2
charbatch 2 points ago +2 / -0

I'll be very disappointed if he doesn't pardon them.

2
Oneyes 2 points ago +2 / -0

It doesn't look like Trump will pardon Assange. He usually tweets about his intentions.

I guess he never realized the man basically put him in office: without Wikileaks, Hillary would have won.

2
DefenderDad 2 points ago +2 / -0

He should do it on Christmas.

2
Tifa09 2 points ago +2 / -0

Isn't Snowden related to Zuckerberg like a cousin or something? I find that.... to close for comfort really. It's probably why he has a Twitter account still.

2
ThatGuyRabbi 2 points ago +2 / -0

I pray he pardons Snowden and Assange

Everybody I know in Europe loves Snowden and Assange. It would be the nail in the coffin of their TDS.

The NSA program that Snowden exposed was meant to keep a tab on politicians and the deep state. Snowden was a CIA plant in the NSA to leak that information. He’s not a good guy.

4
HalfKing 4 points ago +4 / -0

Wasn't he just a contractor working for booze-hamilton? I apologize if I'm wrong, not as up to date on the snowden shit.

1
BlinkinSun 1 point ago +1 / -0

You are correct, 100%. He was just an IT worker.

0
President_Elect_Pepe 0 points ago +6 / -6

He was a contractor.

They were contracted to oversee the entirety of the infrastructure.

Snowden was high level IT staff and had admin level access to everything.

Why someone with his age and limited background was allowed that level of access is a good question to ask.

Source on this.

The last guy who I asked about this had some real garbage quality sources.

I hope you can do better.

In a time when censorship is becoming an increasing problem, the value of whistleblowers to society is increasing. Pardon sends the right signal.

Manning too

1
Boruzu 1 point ago +1 / -0

I’m not convinced that either snowden or assange were trying to stick it to the deep state when they committed their high crimes.

They did a lot of permanent damage to the intelligence community you pay for to protect you.

Were these guys’ missions to protect the presidency? Did they accomplish a net good? No.

1

Assange and Joe exotic !!! FREE THEM!

Leave snowden in russia

1
d3plor4ble 1 point ago +2 / -1

Assange yes, Snowden no. I have reliable sources that claim Snowden gave top-secret intel to the Russians and Chinese governments.

1
Saremei 1 point ago +2 / -1

I don't care if snowden rots in a cell somewhere. Regardless of what he exposed, he did it in a bad way. Assange I want pardoned. Snowden can stay in Russia.

1

100% agree. I was just talking to me wife about this. They need a pardon now!

I'm pretty sure George Washington violated British law many thousands of times. The law is set up to create shadowy non-transparebt government which is antithetical to liberty.

0
TheCandorist 0 points ago +3 / -3

Oh for fucks sake. George Washington didn't steal British intelligence then run off to France and give it to them. Snowden is criminal scum. George Washington did what many do when they feel they have no representation in government. Throw it off.

Yeah, but he signed papers confirming he knew this was a crime, what the punishment is, and was required to sign that he understands how to raise concerns. You ever been in a secure area? I've had a clearance. I've also walked around at NSA headquarters. There are placards everywhere telling you that if you see something say something and who to say it to. We have had lots of whistleblowers over the years for three letter illegal behavior. They didn't steal classified data then globe hop to pass it to our two largest adversaries.

TheCandorist 0 points ago +1 / -1

Literally only one thing you listed was ever a crime. An actual legally binding crime. You are a dumb rigger if you think it's ok to steal passwords from people, steal thousands of documents, and give them to both of the largest enemies of your country while fleeing any responsibility for violating the agreements you signed on to under penalty of prison and fines.

-1

Bullshit. Snowden absolutely stole data and passwords that he was not privy to. It's called espionage you dipshit.

-1
LugNuts -1 points ago +1 / -2

So he will pardon their accusations, got it.

-1
HighEmergy -1 points ago +6 / -7

I think Snowden is a terrible threat, I think he’s a terrible traitor and you know what we used to do in the good old days when we were a strong country, you know what we used to do to traitors right?

-1
rplgn -1 points ago +1 / -2

You fuckers want your wet dreams too early. Fight for Trump before your Merry Christmas, stupid. His legal team is doing their part. You are just a coward asking for shit without return. You know how stupid it sounds to troll now if the threat is the CCP? Why play jokes with them? Are they not your lethal enemy? Are you braindamaged to believe you can have fun with them? Do you think TD.win deserves your funny but insulting attitude? Be there on the watch and on Jan 6th to make it up for Trump. In return he will grant you your deserved wishes.
