i bet it started out that way but the CIA/deep state has most likely controlled every election since kennedy. they’ve had years to filter people out. i don’t doubt some of them believe they’re doing the right thing “for the good of the country” but when you’re literally creating coups in other countries for a living you’re a piece of shit forever
