Tbh i've found thats a myth in my experience. i bought into the belief that cigars are better with wooden matches (not the cheap ones you find in the store mind you - those will certianly leave a shit taste behind) and went all in for matches; a few years backi gave table top lighters a shot, and i honestly after years of using them cant tell any difference in using a good butane torch or a match. now with a zippo, a zippo can wreck your cigar if you light it wrong because of the chemical it uses. tastes like asshole on a hot friday.
