I would say the biggest problem are the budgets that keep passing, if Ted riles up American people to the sham that is our annual budget where we start electing better politicians with explicit promise to cut the lobbyists, if he does all that, I think we all can get our money together for the best cigars in the world for him.

ive got a few cuban RyJ churchill laying around somewhere i can send him, but he strikes more as a macanudo or cohiba guy. my personal favorite is the Churchill HYDM excalibur.

I have to say, it all sounds fancy and strangely enticing, even though I have never even tried cigars.

if you get interested, start with something on the gentler side, and dont go cheap. a bad cigar will turn you off of it forever if its your first one. dont touch anything like the Romeo Y julieta - thats a great smoke, but only if you can appreciate it - its medium bodied so it will probably turn a non smoker away. I'd avoid churchills, and go for something like a Corona, petite corona, conchita, or a laguito.

you'll want to get something more aromatic, and smooth. the one i mentioned before, the Hoyo De Monterrey Excalibur would fit that bill for sure - tho they can be annoying to find these days. i don't see stores carrying them anymore and i have to go online for them.

just because i recognize im speaking greek:

theres five components to a cigars name

  • Shape, size, color, brand, name

Shape size and color are all shared among all cigars.

Heres some shapes

  • Paraejo - most common one you'll see, and is what he is smoking here.
  • Torpedo - another very common shape
  • Presidente - fairly uncommon, you dont see many people other than enthusiasts going after these
  • Perfecto - Exactly like its name implies - this is my favorite.

Heres some Sizes

  • Churchill - generally considered to be the ideal cigar size.
  • Cigarillo - these are what you see sold in the convenience store mostly.
  • All of the sizes i listed off for you before (Corona, petite corona, conchita, or a laguito.)
  • There's a ton more sizes, but these are the ones youll most commonly find

Heres the colors

  • Oscuro - (black)
  • Maduro - (Dark brown)
  • Colorado Maduro - (medium brown)
  • Colorado - (Brown)
  • Colorado Claro - (light brown)
  • Claro - (very light brown)
  • Double claro - (light tan)

now a few brands

  • Hoyo De Monterrey
  • Macanudo
  • Cohiba
  • Rocky patel
  • Cao Brazilia
  • There's a TON more, but only about ten or so worth mentioning as a 'go to' brand, tho you can find some good ones that are off brand.

and lastly, is the name of the cigar,
