It's illegal to be out in public. state police, sherrifs, and city police are going around doing sweeps harassing anyone who even stops and parks for to long, doing 'welfare checks' and encouraging them to move along, or outright threatening charges claiming that "they" have "decided to close everything" and that its illegal to be out on 'government' / public land now. if pressed they will mention someone littered somewhere, because the only law against it is the littering ordnance they they are reinterpreting to close the entire state.

This lockdown of public land happened the day insley 'won' reelection, a few months after them making a big stink about opening the parks back up (becase the science says it safe to be outside away form people) but they intentionally cram everyone together and put us signs saying 'if to many people use the outdoors we will close it down again' which they literately did.
How can we be so broke, but have the money to have ALL THESE FUCKING COPS and sheriffs doing laps every single night through all this public land that they used to completely ignore!!??! I thought we where broke??!

The closure of public land is simply a slap in the face.
