He was popular because he was a populist. He talked to people that the Republicans and Democrats ignored, while they appealed to billionaires and war mongers. The problem is that Bernie has pie in the sky solutions.

Either way these two major political parties are just about the same except that Republicans have more guns and the Democrats have more assless chaps.
