Ain't that the truth. Buddy of mine used to speak about it all the time and said jokingly, "it might actually be a good thing if they don't legalize it, if they do it'll remove a big conversation starter and talking point." He was one of the worst burnouts I've ever seen but there's a small bit of truth to it even for occasional partakers.
Truth. Plenty of smart and hard working stoners, you just don’t know they’re stoners because they act like normal people and you wouldn’t guess. Plenty of dumb and lazy stereotypical stoners as well, but then again I know plenty of dumb and lazy people who don’t smoke at all too.
I smoke every god damned day right before i go work all god damned day... people always talking shit about lazy stoners but how about mother fuck alcohol that shit has killed a lot of people i love
Don't get me wrong, I don't use pot but I don't care if someone else does. It isn't my business. But those I know who use it are always telling me I should try it. Never cared to, the smell makes me sick, and it seems pointless for me to bother with it. Besides it is illegal here and I don't want to lose my guns.
i lost all three of my uncles to cirrhosis of the liver... all of em' pot-bellied, yellow-eyed, and insane... but never stopped drinking. fuck that shit forever.
I know some stoners who use pot recreationally who are fine when not stoned. I also know some who use it very frequently, and they are all very messed up. They don't do hard drugs, but being near-constantly high clearly has negative effects on them.
You're talking to a partaker doing very well for myself. I interact with stoners nearly everyday because many of my friends are the successful types you talk about. If you met this particular guy though you'd know exactly what I mean.
"Cannabinoids and their anti-emetic potential are still under research, and many of the intricacies behind their mechanisms are still unknown or lack universal consensus".
If that doesn't spell out that the medicinal efficacy is unproven, then I don't know what would.
Now read the adverse effects and you'll see why I'm adamant about exposing it. Have personally exeperienced nearly every adverse effect listed.
Most real research into medicinal cannabis has shown, unsurprisingly, that the positive effects are short-lived, and paid for later by the adverse effects.
Bro, I was a loser on cannabis, quit and now I'm successful.
I'm speaking from personal experience here. I have met a lot of stoners. Can always tell. It's like trying to cut with a knife that hasn't been sharpened in a while.
If it's so harmless then why did my roommate call paramedics when I passed out from the withdrawal.
If it's so harmless why did my mom have to slap me awake from a seizure after a relapse.
Cannabis users always think they are so much smarter than everyone. You are a perfect example of who Rand Paul is talking about here.
Nah, I have to disagree and agree, Cannabis is psychoactive, meaning that a small, very small subset of people can experience adverse side effects ranging from withdrawal-like symptoms to outright psychosis, however that group is small like ridiculously small, smaller than users of almost any other type of mind altering substance, including but not limited to alcohol, nicotine, and pharmaceuticals. It does indeed have medical uses to say it doesn't is just a lie, don't argue like a leftist blinded by preconceptions.
Come on, man. -Biden
I mean the ones who talk about it all the time and that's their excuse for a personality, sure. With plenty of us you'd never know, cause we keep it to ourselves and aren't stoned 24/7.
That's nice Rand, and you can be part of stopping even more wasted government spending by standing up for President Trump and ensuring there won't be a Biden presidency.
This made me laugh. Pot smokers are as bad as vegans or Seventh Day Adventists with their views...

Am stoner, can confirm. My alcohol problem is significantly worse...
Get into meetings fren! AA gets a bad rap in media and tv shows but it’s pretty amazing.
I’m obsessed with group therapy now it’s so introspective and fun.

It's a lot easier to be a functional stoner than a functional alcoholic.

Marijuana causes anxiety, withdrawals, and mood swings, and has no proven medical uses.
It is a myth that there are so many people using the drug who are “productive”.
There is a reason men like Trump do not use drugs or alcohol.
Which disease or ailment has it been proven to cure or treat?
First sentence under second section of your link:

Loving the downvotes from addicts in denial. Keep ‘em coming.

That's on you, not the cannabis.
It's not exactly a controversy that being stoned all damn day won't produce good results.

Or Crossfitters.
Hey some of us are rightfully ashamed of ourselves.
Vegans Pot smokers Women with a dress/skirt with pockets
can confirm. sauce: smoke weed every day
He's right. And funny. I like him when he is Festivusing.
$3M? It's nice to hear San Fran doesn't have homeless drug addicts who shit on the streets and leave needles laying around everywhere.
God damn that's funny
Rand is hot today!!
100% money laundering.
RANDs been hitting home runs as of late....
I'm sure the money went to the interviewers and upper management -- none went to the interviewees.
This is so true!
No they spent 3 million to feed them pot and have them talk about it. They could have just wanted Creech and Chong dumb ass commies!
That's nice Rand, and you can be part of stopping even more wasted government spending by standing up for President Trump and ensuring there won't be a Biden presidency.
We were the first to legalize it here in CO and they STILL won't stop talking about it.
How the fuck do I get in on these handouts? I will gladly be interviewed or be a part of these laughable studies for a nice paycheck.
Rand Paul is a defeatist and a coward who is telling Congress not to object to electors https://streamable.com/o4a7ha
