Oh please. Just because there are traces of it in your blood or urine for long periods of time doesn't mean it effects you for that length of time. Cocaine will be out of your system in a few days. Alcohol in about one day, unless you drink a lot. What about all the hard painkillers out there? Are those drugs less dangerous than pot? No way.
People who think they can smoke just one joint here and there, and not have it affect them throughout the rest of their day/life are living in denial!
Except there are millions of people who do exactly that with no adverse effects. They can do their job and take care of responsibilities just fine.

Many of the people you are describing as โdoing fineโ are living well below what their potential would be without drugs, and are using the artificial effects of the drug to mask their dissatisfaction with their own circumstances, rather than taking the direct actions necessary to improve their lot.
Try taking an IQ test on and off the drug and compare your results.
Try taking a reflex test on and off the drug.
Try taking any number of cognitive performance tests on and off the drug.
