One long shot option I can think of is Trump has something big enough up his sleeve- he calls in the heads of congress- shows his cards - possibly information he cannot share with the public- and he "blackmails" them to force a debate and then vote in his favor.

From what I was told per Bongino, both the Senate and House need to agree to throw out a states set of electors.
