Best idea for charity is something new I had to start for same reason. I painted wooden boxes (you can buy at Michaels/Craft or make whatever) into presents and wrote presents on back from list that I had compiled (every year I donate to local womens shelters coats toys/there is always a tree at my church with little cards for things needed at senior homes etc) you get the idea but this year I decided to expand the idea as experiment. Since people were happy to take my Trump signs I wondered if they would be happy to take a “present” the big decorated box that they could use as ornament for their lawn or a decoration or whatever and leave a present to help me with my list so I could get more stuff. I put a big sign up and it worked pretty well. I dont trust any of the large charitys either and this was pretty fun.
