I mean it's pretty simple. It's good politics for Dems since their base wants the checks, and it puts pressure on McConnell who opposes the checks but is scared of defying Trump. I'm past caring about the politics. Just pass something for people who need to feed their kids and pay rent. It will likely pass in the House on Monday. Mitch better step up for once.
