A friend of mine has a Christmas Party every year and he invited all of of his friends again this year. The only people who accepted the invite this year were me and one other friend of his. The other friend didn't show after whining that "private gatherings are where all the infections are coming from". I was the only motherfucker that attended his Christmas party, and we drank, had good food, and listened to Irish drinking and fighting songs. When the party was over, he thanked me for not being a pussy.

My in laws bleed blue. They are so brainwashed by the coof, they have refused to come in our house for the entire year. They bleach their money and groceries, and then when they do come over, we sit outside, they refuse to hug their grandkids, bathe themselves in hand sanitizer and god forbid one of my kids (6 and 2) touch their clothes!! They literally freak out! My husband finally told them they cant come back over or see us until they act normal again. I hate all this. I hate it for my kids mostly.

The Bible can only only be "true" insofar as it reflects the patterns shown to us by the Creator; it's the only way we can apprehend such an incomprehensible force.
So to unpack that, I approach it from a Jungian perspective in that religious texts are only "true" in the sense that they reflect the archetypes that make up the structure of what is: it's the Platonic idea that relations between things are constant, but the terms may differ. Father is to child, as the Creator is to his creation. Roads into cities are akin to blood vessels into organs. Christ is to the people as a shepherd is to his flock. The entire universe is relational, and the stories we tell are simply a way to recognize these patterns, and to lay them out into a dramatic, narrative form that reflects a way of being that is in tune with the overarching operating patterns of the Creator.
We are beings with Free Will, and no sentient (conscious) being has a right to impose their uncoerced will upon another. Working with this universal force is exemplified by the degree to which we exercise reciprocity and empathy with our fellow travelers. The use of free will to work in concert with the Creator is the underlying basis for morality, in my view. So as creators ourselves, we are limited by material existence. Humans must take the example of God and use it to elevate the spiritual strength of ourselves and those around us. This is the goal of existence. We must be created in the image of the Creator, there is no alternative. It would be impossible for the Marvel universe to exist or have a mode of being outside of the universe created by Stan Lee.

You may have to drive 20-30 minutes to find one, it may be a small one, and it may be hard to find, BUT if you seek it out, pray for discernment, and keep visiting different churches until you find the right place, I'm confident God will lead you on the right direction. What's worse is liberal family members. My sister went ballistic earlier this year. Couldn't have a rationale conversation so after warning her...I shut her down. I did send her and her husband a Christmas gift, but got a nasty gram saying they wanted to discontinue exchanging gifts. I'm like- "fine, whatever you want". SMH 🙄
My in laws bleed blue. They are so brainwashed by the coof, they have refused to come in our house for the entire year. They bleach their money and groceries, and then when they do come over, we sit outside, they refuse to hug their grandkids, bathe themselves in hand sanitizer and god forbid one of my kids (6 and 2) touch their clothes!! They literally freak out! My husband finally told them they cant come back over or see us until they act normal again. I hate all this. I hate it for my kids mostly.
This is so frustrating, my brother and his wife are just being ridiculous, we haven’t seen them or my 5 years old niece since March and it’s really hard on my 10 year old. She really misses them. My brother just says “yeah it’s just such a shame...” I just want to scream at them that NOBODY is making do this but themselves!! It’s just so ridiculous- all of it, every single avenue you go down is ludicrous, there IS a solution to every single “problem” but they don’t want to hear it. 🤦♀️

I think there is an absolute morality. There is a definite right and wrong. Biblical exegesis is important, and the interpretations will by necessity reflect the zeitgeist of those doing the exegesis.
Texts regarding sexual relations were included for obvious reasons, given the culture at the time they were written. In tribal societies, strong group cohesion is important, and things like sexual promiscuity threaten the strength of the group. While I don't condone sexual deviancy, the modern culture does not face the same threats as the ancient, pre-Baconian/Newtonian world. Religious texts and teachings can shed a light on what is regarding the metaphysical, but were also written by man. They can only reflect a limited view of what God is, and how we understand this force. To blindly accept all tenets in a religious dogma or work is to offload our responsibility as sentient beings to explore the spiritual landscape for ourselves. The Bible can only only be "true" insofar as it reflects the patterns shown to us by the Creator; it's the only way we can apprehend such an incomprehensible force.
So to unpack that, I approach it from a Jungian perspective in that religious texts are only "true" in the sense that they reflect the archetypes that make up the structure of what is: it's the Platonic idea that relations between things are constant, but the terms may differ. Father is to child, as the Creator is to his creation. Roads into cities are akin to blood vessels into organs. Christ is to the people as a shepherd is to his flock. The entire universe is relational, and the stories we tell are simply a way to recognize these patterns, and to lay them out into a dramatic, narrative form that reflects a way of being that is in tune with the overarching operating patterns of the Creator.
We are beings with Free Will, and no sentient (conscious) being has a right to impose their uncoerced will upon another. Working with this universal force is exemplified by the degree to which we exercise reciprocity and empathy with our fellow travelers. The use of free will to work in concert with the Creator is the underlying basis for morality, in my view. So as creators ourselves, we are limited by material existence. Humans must take the example of God and use it to elevate the spiritual strength of ourselves and those around us. This is the goal of existence. We must be created in the image of the Creator, there is no alternative. It would be impossible for the Marvel universe to exist or have a mode of being outside of the universe created by Stan Lee.

You may have to drive 20-30 minutes to find one, it may be a small one, and it may be hard to find, BUT if you seek it out, pray for discernment, and keep visiting different churches until you find the right place, I'm confident God will lead you on the right direction. I've already lost an entire group of friends because of how vocal I have been as a conservative. Even refusing to believe that socialism will work (which I think it never will). I am with you there fren I lost everyone I thought I was close to because they refuse to be around a "bigoted trump supporter" who "betrayed his own people."

Lost a long time good friend couple over their TDS and legit terror over getting the vid. They are both highly accomplished and educated and yet they believe CNN that POTUS was/is a Russian agent and that this plague is like a poisonous gas lethal within 6 ft.
