I've already lost an entire group of friends because of how vocal I have been as a conservative. Even refusing to believe that socialism will work (which I think it never will). I am with you there fren I lost everyone I thought I was close to because they refuse to be around a "bigoted trump supporter" who "betrayed his own people."
Isn't that crazy how it works? People who have known you forever, they know your heart and your mind all of a sudden turning on you. I thought if anyone would understand me, it'll be my best friend. Boy, was in wrong. Now I just consider her an acquaintance, because a true friend would not plug their ears and turn their back on you.
I'm thankful for you guys on this site, makes me feel less alone.
