Nothing has happened with any of the lawsuits and If the Insurrection Act was going to be used I thought he would have already done it. What does everyone else think?
The NDAA contains language that blocks Trump from doing so. If McConnell is successful in overriding his veto on the 29th. Trump won't be able to. It will force him to do it sooner if he is even still thinking about it.
I think he does not, because it would give the corrupted a reason to say “abuse of power” with massive personal risks if for some reason the corruption cannot be won before the 20th.
Seeing how Congress is trying to remove his powers to use it fully, I think he couldn't have neglected the possibility they would try to take it off the table.

His toss of the NDAA/"Stimulus" Bill back to Congress with a "More Money For People" angle saved it from the veto-proof 2/3 majority they had planned to set it into law despite a veto. This gives him more time to possibly use it. If they had just passed the $600 bill then he wouldn't be able to use the Insurrection Act in its full capacity after the 29th of December.
Since they are changing the contents of the bill, they will have to hand it back to him for another veto. Nancy thought they could just up that one figure to $2000, but enough people are resisting that increase such that other things need to be added/removed from the bill which means Trump's can veto again.
He called their bluff, but I doubt he would take the risk to put all his eggs in the Insurrection basket. He's likely using this as a distraction.
Nope. It would have been used weeks ago. But people don't want to use common sense and keep hoping for something to happen so they don't have to do the hard work.
It’s pretty clear that POTUS doesn’t have the power we all think he has. That and the will power. If you or I would have the job as President don’t you think we would have used such powers by now? Literally what is he waiting for? The president is not all powerful.
