Sorry for your loss.

However, I feel like the hospital may have killed your friend.

Ventilators have not been a part of COVID-19 therapy since April when everyone realized that they were killing people.

The COVID-19 kills by denying the red blood cells the ability to absorb oxygen molecules. Ventilation does not work for that.

Also, with kidney issues too? It is very hard for COVID-19 to cause that.

Also, what were the specific brain issues she was having?

I feel like your friend was experiencing kidney issues, but when she tested positive for COVID-19 (with PCR?) they abandoned all thinking and ran with that causing your friend to die due to the kidney issues. Similar to a nurse in Florida who died of Kidney failure

This. I'm extremely sorry to hear about this. And I will be praying for her and her family and you as well. However this sounds like the hospital is responsible..

Could be. I'm not really interested in getting into the minutae of her condition, but suffice it to say she had pulmonary comorbidities. We wondered about the vent too.
