This has happened before. He may not be popular, but I see positive parallels between Richard Nixon and Donald Trump. Nixon declared the media is the enemy of the people, the establishment is the enemy of the people. Nixon was the result of the 2nd wave of conservative resurgence, but he screwed up and then lied.
