I am in Occapied Virginia, and there is an abandoned car with expired tags and clear evidence of an accident (probably undrivable) outside my subdivision on the public right-of-way of a state maintained road. I reported it to police on 13 December - the police who are authorized to deal with abandoned cars on a state right-of-way.

The car has been there since 12 December. After Christmas I will be calling Virginia Occapation Police again to inquire as to why they haven't towed it.

They are probably enforcing Gubnah Doctah Baby Stranglah Raff's mask mandate. Good revenue enhancement there!

So if cars can be abandoned in what I would think is a nice neighborhood, we should not be surprised that abandoned cars are on public right-of-ways in Maryland (land of Gubnah Larry The RINO "Wear The Damned Mask" Hogan - cue up the march).

Be a real shame if a guy with a pickup and a chain dragged it in to the street a little.

That would be actionable - that would be me abandoning a car in the street, technically now stolen by me. I would recommend not.

It's a Honda Civic - most popular car in America after the Toyota Corolla. After 40 days the county can sell it. You'd think there'd be some revenue enhancement in it.

My Darling Wife is arguing that I should not do anything about it. If it was abandoned in front of our house she'd feel different.

For some reason it just grates on me...

And if you think I'm being pendantic - I live if Occapied Virginia, with more lawyers per capita than any place else on the planet...

Ever spent a night in jail? I wouldn't wish it on anyone, even "a guy"...
