I know if the election gets sent to congress it's per-state in the house. I know if the election gets sent to congress it's per-state in the house. Not sure about this particular case.
If it's a contingent election, each state gets one vote. However, to even get to that point, we need a majority vote in the House and Senate. If any law 'pedes know otherwise, feel free to correct me.
