These are what we call the most dangerous people. The only thing they care for is their own immediate benefit. An overall menace to society because of vote buying, and how quickly they'd be willing to betray their fellow citizen.
I read a thing a while back saying much the same thing - written by someone who worked in the legal system, he talked about how so many black people get in trouble with the cops because they just can’t think to the future & the consequences of their actions. They just live for the NOW. I don’t have a hope of finding it again but it was a really fascinating piece.
I remember reading that one as well, or at least something similar to it. It's an unfortunate truth that there are a lot of people who think like this. The more people who can't comprehend consequences vote, the worse off a republic becomes.
I wish I could find the post - I looked but I can’t find it. It wasn’t from an academic, it was someone who worked in the legal system talking about what he saw. It was shocking really, but explained a lot. I wish I could find it.
Funny, but sad to see how cheaply some people will sell their vote.
the democrats have been doing this for 80 years people will sell there dreams for pennies
