From the article it looks like they are actually doing prep-work to blame the virus for the infertility wave that's about to hit the planet.
They are actually researching infertility from covid19, and so the are looking at the vaccine on the side and warning people of the risk that comes from the virus and therefore the vaccine.
This is going to provide ammo against us since it doesn't actually prove the vaccine is a sterilization agent, whilst proving a nice gasslight for if/when the infertility wave starts.
