Started his ministry at 30AD with his baptism on jan 3rd, carried the sin of the world to his crucifixion at 33AD where all sin was judged through blood. So not quite 2000 years I think!

AD (at death) --- NO--Anno Domini is Latin for "in the year of the Lord" referring to the birth of Jesus Christ. B.C. means "before Christ"

Yeah best way it was explained to me as a kid was B.C. 'before Christ' AD is birthday or we would be missing 30 odd years. Never forgot the stupid simple explanation and glad Gipgm2 knew the Latin
