You were asking what a Christian should do, and I was saying that there is nothing in the Bible that says you have to do anything other than believe in the Father and proclaim Jesus as the savior of the elect. Everything else are examples of how you should live, but it ultimately is up to God who is saved and it's not based on good deeds
what is that an evangelical perspective? I've never heard anybody say that Jesus doesn't say you have to be a good person in addition to "being saved". i can pull some bible verses for you if you like. something about a camel and a needle is coming to mind.
you're evading the question. i was asking what God Fearing Christians should do.
Have faith and never deny the Father. No good deed can save you, you must be forgiven for the sin.
you're using "no good deed can save you" as an oblique defense against giving all resources to the poor as Our Lord Savior Jesus decreed?

I dont know what you are getting by saying we should just give everything we have to someone else.
the word of Jesus Christ. have you read the bible or you just think Joel Osteen is hot?
