Not only that but most importantly it lays the framework for the necessity of a militia, which we cannot form in this country because as soon as you do the feds infiltrate it and either use you to pull off some kind of crazy shit that they plan, fund and then "stop" in order to bask in the glory or just make you a patsy and arrest you for the visuals.

The 2nd amendment is half neutered right now. All we have left is guns with no militia to wield them in a meaningful organized fashion. So long as the gun owners are kept from organizing TPTB will continue their bullshit with no fear.
