Super depressing. I thought he was one of the good guys.

Shills trying hard to sow discord. We love Nunes and and we trust him. No one has fought harder than he has to reveal the communist plot against the president by the Obama administration.

Agree he should have voted against this particular bill, however. The hard part is that defense spending was wrapped in it. Tough choice considering the times.

Def one of the few that i will give a pass to. He should still be ashamed of having voted for it.

Squeaker 7 points ago +8 / -1

It's not a tough choice though. It was chalk full of stupid shit. There is no reason to vote yes on it.

And I'm going to say this again. His job isn't over just because he worked on crossfire hurricane.

It isn't sowing discord to call out a politician who is failing to do what's right. He is failing right now. He needs to step up.

From my comment that you replied to:

The hard part is that defense spending was wrapped in it.”

Are you not aware of what Chyna is up to? Blocking defense appropriations is a very tough choice right now.

I agree that the bill should have been rejected however I appreciate the outcome: red-pilled masses distrusting congress and agreeing with President Trump.

I am aware of China, yes. If they want to do a defense bill, then do a defense bill. 6k pages of dough (at this rate, monopoly money) for foreign countries and pet projects is NOT negotiable nor reasonable to even entertain.

And as much as I'd love to believe the masses are being red pilled, I don't think a bunch of leftists who live on gov handouts are truly getting red pilled. They just follow the biggest handout, which happened to be Trumps counter of 2k. Their loyalty is to who pays them most.

Agree that they should have had a separate defense bill but democrats and RINOs (and traitors) strategically caused it to be wrapped in with pork thereby making it a tough choice between funding the military during a war with China and Iran (and others) along with massive pork and not funding anything at all. Right now we’re at war and the military remains unfunded.

It’s a tough choice.

Regarding redpilling: did you not see any of the posts all over antisocial media showing what’s actually in the bill? Congress is throughly on notice and Americans, and the world, are watching.

Squeaker 1 point ago +1 / -0

Re: Redpill Idk, I wasn't on tdw during the last porkulus bill, but the world was watching then too. Not sure how many true converts we really got.

MAGA_MEXICAN_CHILI 1 point ago +1 / -0

My money is that he didn't even read it, his aid probably did and said "yea its a defense + covid bill. you need to vote on it and here's the notes" only showing him the things that they wanted him to see.

Pelosi didnt even release the bill until 5 hours before the vote and its over 5,000 pages. You would need to be superhuman to read all of it within the alloted time. Most of these reps (except the ones who put the pork in) voted on the bill on face value. Others probably watched their twitter and saw some of us post out the horrid bs in it...Rand just votes no on any spending bill.

3
CahalTheMad 3 points ago +3 / -0

Maybe Nunes didn't bother to read it like most everyone else who voted "yes."

rocco_saint 0 points ago +1 / -1

Don't be so quick to dismiss distrust for a politician, even Nunes as being a shill move. Has he stood up saying that he was going to contest the fraudulent electors? Not that I've heard. I'd love to be wrong, but at this point this is all that matters. This is the MAGA Purity test. You either stand now or all of the posturing you've done in the past is worthless. #ChangeMyMind

I think he still is a good guy. He just made a mistake with this bill.

4
guten_morgen 4 points ago +4 / -0

I know. He was one of the surprising votes, to me.

I’m with you pede it is tough to decipher who is for us and against us in the GOP but this one really fucked me up. At this point assume all are in bed with the global and no one is for you it will lessen the betrayal. I feel silly for saying but if it doesn’t work out by trumps 2nd term, Cruz 2024

Yeah, only like six people voted against the goddamn bill, so spamming basically the entire Congress all over the board is pure freaking noise. It may be that all of Congress are losers that need to be voted out, but focusing on that now is a very, very misplaced priority.

I’ve been here since day one, along with a lot of others (I see you a lot, SJ, not speaking to you, but to the group). Here’s the questions:

Do we have an election to win?

If you had a switch to flip, that would either:

  1. Spam all of Congress onto our board, or
  2. NOT spam all of Congress onto our board,

How would you throw that switch?

At first I thought this was some slightly MAGA karma-whoring.

After consideration, I think the odds are much higher that it is some nefarious shit.

Fine I will stop

Squeaker 1 point ago +1 / -0

So just gonna be devils advocate here for a sec.

Why should our officials get a pass for that kind of voting? As a congressman, you are voting on bills that will become law and govern the people, and everyone is just cool with them not being adequately informed of what they are voting for all because it contains 1 thing they think is good or because the holidays are coming up and gosh darn it all, it's so much work to be informed/read it thoroughly??

Nobody should ever vote yes on anything unless they know what the fuck they are voting yes on. I thought this was common sense?

And if the entire gov runs this way and people ARE cool with this, then we deserve the shit we are in right now because people do not make good choices when they are uninterested or unwilling to put in the work. We shouldn be demanding more from our leaders, not less.

2
MAGA_MEXICAN_CHILI 2 points ago +2 / -0

They shouldnt and reforms to how bills are produce have been shot down numerous times. A bill shouldnt be no larger than 10 pages and the reason its done that way is so common people would be unable to understand it unless it goes through the 'right people'.

Bill reform is needed badly

I have been disappointed in Nunes. Ya him voting for this bill sucks, but more importantly he has been silent about the voter fraud. Him not having the Presidents back with the voter fraud has been disappointing. Hopefully he will be standing for Trump on the 6th.

3
OKRancher 3 points ago +3 / -0

The 6th will reveal people’s true colors. There’s no way anyone that has tried to pay attention can believe Biden won.

4
thejohnald 4 points ago +4 / -0

I have a feeling alot of these people didn't even read what was in the covid relief bill. its fuking over 5000 pages long and they just wanted to go on their Holiday vacation......

3
OKRancher 3 points ago +3 / -0

That’s part of the problem. Why would you vote yes on anything you haven’t read?

3
Wishdonwasdad 3 points ago +3 / -0

Dude come on.. This guy has done so many great things for trump and we are gonna virtual hang him for one bad obviously rushed decision???

1
Unhappymeal 1 point ago +1 / -0

That bill had provisions to remove Trump’s ability to invoke the Insurrection Act. As a lowly prom level city patrol cop, I would never fucking sign anything like an affidavit or warrant without reading every single line. Can’t read it all, hard fucking pass, not signing. Considering the role Nunes is in, why in the living fuck would he vote Yes on this....

1
WhatRinossay [S] 1 point ago +1 / -0

I have stopped if you are happy

3
My2Cents 3 points ago +3 / -0

Gonna give him this one, this one time.

Probably something in there he really wanted.

I'm not on board with this post, yet.

Devin Nunes is a Patriot of the highest order. ANYONE that thinks otherwise can FUCKOFF.

2
1776Widowmaker 2 points ago +2 / -0

Ca pede here. Im keep telling myself they did this knowing it would get shot down.

2
Pumpitrealgood 2 points ago +2 / -0

The American people have very few friends in higher office.

1776Widowmaker 2 points ago +2 / -0

It's common to vote for something knowing it won't go through...

This one disappointed me.

1
Tenspot20 1 point ago +2 / -1

I'm sure he will explain in great detail why he chose the faithful decision to turn against the American Public and support this trash. He has always been upfront as far as I know.

I'll wait for his response.

Petty fucking Post! Many are traitorous bastards but these dumb fucking posts about true patriots that voted wrong on this shit is dumb. Unless they have a history of being on the wrong side or they take a literal stance against trump then I’m ignoring this covid relief vote...

Totally Disappointed in hearing this. Did you even read the bill??

I have not seen anything that shitheads who voted for this have to say to justify their votes. I am asking all who voted for it, WHY? You first Nunes, I thought you had more sense and represented conservative values better than that
