Having a high IQ doesn't necessarily mean you have the genius 'vision'.
For example I bet this guy couldn't write a hit song, draw a portrait or write a good novel.
High IQ, based on their testing challenges, means yr generally quick at arithmetic and have a talent for recognizing patterns. That being the case, everything this guy has said so far (re Deep State) has been spot on.
You hit on something that I wish we studied more: different kinds of intelligence. I've met very few people who are truly dumb, but many people who aren't necessarily "thinking smart" but still geniuses in some way. They may have linguistic intelligence, or kinesthetic intelligence, or interpersonal intelligence. They are exceedingly logical, or artistic, or philosophical, but not all of those things. I'm artistic and intuitive, but I stumble with logic problems. It's fascinating to me.
We do need to study it more. In the tech field, the vast majority of people in it are complete bluepilled retards, yet scored high on IQ tests. Something's clearly missing.
yes, contextual understanding, ability to parse nuance, empathy (real empathy), and understanding of real-world causality and consequences. also, true understanding of oneself and capabilities, coupled with personal accountability. also speaking foreign languages.
turns out, writing nice nested forloops and decision trees, as well as understanding hashmaps and other coding quiz questions doesnt really make you intelligent.
