Ugh I’m sorry you had such a difficult labor. I completely agree with you. I wanted a medication-free birth so badly- my husband and I even took Bradley method classes for hours a week for months. But then I ended up having to be induced and was in active labor with my water broken for over 72 hours and pushed for about 3 hours (I have no idea how you did 9!)
So while I think completely natural births are favorable and I wish I didn’t have to be induced, I’m just grateful that my son and I are alive. Oftentimes the medical assistance doesn’t make it easier at all.
