You remind me of someone I met on September 11, 2001. We had a Commander's Call a couple hours after those planes hit. The Colonel stood in front of us all and told us to be ready for very long term, very short notice deployments to anywhere. Update your wills, and dependent care plans. When the Commander told us to be ready to deploy, she turned to her friend and said "No way! I'm not going anywhere! I'm going to get myself pregnant!". But, you shouldn't worry about my or other Americans reactions to Texas seceding as much as you should worry about the reaction of other Texans that are good patriotic Americans. A lot of Texans ARE loyal to their country, love the constitution, and would again fight to preserve and protect it, not abandon it. I can't imagine what they would do to you. I do know they would very much enjoy doing it though.
