The ideology makes you a bad person. In order to survive you are put in the unenviable position of having to turn in your own family members, sell out your friends, and completely screw over anybody who might possibly get in your way to becoming some sort of a low level party minion so as not to die in a camp somewhere. It makes men forget any morals they may have had and become absolute ruthless beasts
